Wondering
心里琢磨某事（I was wondering if you could help）是礼貌请求的常见开场；表惊奇时 wondering eyes 指充满好奇的眼神。与 wander（漫游）拼写不同，勿混淆。
- “I was wondering whether we could reschedule the call.” (我在想我们能否改期通话。) — 礼貌
- “Kids stood wondering at the huge dinosaur skeleton.” (孩子们望着巨大的恐龙骨架，惊奇不已。)
- “She kept wondering why the answer had not arrived yet.” (她一直在想答案为什么还没到。)
