Woke
“Woke” 最基本是 wake 的过去式,表示“醒来或被唤醒”,如 I woke up early。
- “I woke up before my alarm went off.”
- “The noise woke the baby in the next room.”
- “The documentary woke many viewers to issues they had ignored.”
“She woke early, made coffee, and woke her brother so they would not miss the train.”
