Woke

“Woke” 最基本是 wake 的过去式,表示“醒来或被唤醒”,如 I woke up early。

  1. “I woke up before my alarm went off.”
  2. “The noise woke the baby in the next room.”
  3. “The documentary woke many viewers to issues they had ignored.”

“She woke early, made coffee, and woke her brother so they would not miss the train.”
