Ranging

“Ranging” 常见含义包括:数值“在某一范围内变化”,如 prices ranging from $10 to $50;也可表示“排列、分布”,如 mountains ranging along the coast;或“测距、瞄准”,如 ranging the target。

  1. “Ticket prices are ranging from twenty to eighty dollars.”
  2. “Shops ranging along the street attract many tourists.”
  3. “The discussion topics ranged from climate policy to local schools.”

在数据报告和新闻中,“ranging from … to …”

  • 固定搭配: “ranging from … to …”

“Temperatures were ranging widely this week, so people ranging from hikers to farmers watched the forecast closely.”
