Outlay
- “The initial outlay for the equipment was higher than we expected.”
- “A small outlay on better tools can save time in the long run.”
- “They compared the outlay against the expected return before signing the contract.”
- 动词: outlay(花费、陈列,较少用)
“The café owner’s biggest outlay was a new espresso machine, but loyal customers made it worthwhile within months.”
