Nonconformist

  1. “He was a true nonconformist who refused to follow the latest fashion trends.”
  2. “The artist’s nonconformist style made her stand out in the gallery.”
  3. “Many early settlers in America were nonconformists seeking religious freedom.”

分析结构:Non(不) + Conform(顺从) + ist(人)。

“In a school where everyone wore the same grey uniform and acted exactly the same, Sam was a nonconformist. He painted bright colors on his shoes and read books that weren’t on the reading list. Although he was sometimes lonely, he was proud of being himself.”
