Newsprint
- “The smell of fresh newsprint always reminds me of my grandfather’s house.”
- “The quality of the newsprint was so poor that the ink smudged easily.”
- “Recycling newsprint is an important part of waste management.”
字面意思:News(新闻) + Print(印刷) = 用来印刷新闻的(纸)。
“In the attic, I found a pile of old newspapers from the 1950s. The newsprint had turned yellow with age, but the headlines about the first man in space were still clear. Holding the brittle paper, I felt like I was holding a piece of history.”
