Monologue
- “The actor delivered a powerful monologue at the end of the play.”
- “Conversations with him often turn into a boring monologue about his achievements.”
- “The late-night show begins with a humorous monologue about current events.”
莎士比亚的作品中充满了著名的独白(如《哈姆雷特》中的 “To be, or not to be”)。
“During the party, Sarah tried to talk to Mark, but he kept going on a monologue about his new car. She couldn’t get a word in and eventually just walked away to find someone more interesting to talk to.”
