Misting
“Misting” 可指形成或喷洒细雾,如 misting plants(给植物喷雾)或 a fountain misting in the plaza(广场上喷泉扬起水雾);也可指玻璃、镜片等表面蒙上一层水汽,如 the windows misting up(窗户起雾)。
- “She is misting the houseplants every morning in summer.”
- “The cooling system keeps misting the patio on hot afternoons.”
- “His glasses kept misting when he stepped into the warm kitchen.”
“While misting the orchids, she opened a window so the leaves could dry before nightfall.”
