Mart

  1. “They spent the afternoon browsing the local craft mart.”
  2. “The city has become a major mart for international trade.”
  3. “We need to stop at the mini-mart to get some milk.”

The small village didn’t have a big store, only a tiny mart near the fountain. Every Saturday, farmers brought their best apples to the mart. It was the heart of the village, where news was shared as fast as eggs were sold. For the villagers, the mart was more than a shop; it was their social club.
