Malady

Malady

  1. “Violent crime is a malady that plagues many large cities.”
  2. “He suffered from a mysterious malady that no doctor could diagnose.”
  3. “The country’s economic maladies require urgent structural reforms.”

In the old kingdom, the people were suffering from a strange malady called “The Sleep.” Everyone was lazy and forgot to work. The king realized that this malady was not caused by a virus, but by too much peace and too much gold. He had to find a way to cure the malady of his people’s spirit before the kingdom fell.
