Lust
Lust 指一种极度强烈的欲望。
- 性欲: 对性的强烈渴望。
- 一般欲望: 对权力、金钱、知识或旅行的强烈渴求（如 a lust for power）。
- “His lust for power eventually led to his downfall.” (他对权力的贪欲最终导致了他的垮台。)
- “It wasn’t love; it was just pure lust.” (那不是爱，那纯粹是肉欲。)
- “She has a real lust for life, always seeking new adventures.” (她对生活充满热爱/极强的欲望，总是在寻求新的冒险。)
- 源自古英语 lust，意为“欲望、快乐、愉悦”。在德语中 Lust 仍然有“兴趣、乐意”的意思，但在英语中演变得更具压倒性和负面性。
无明显前缀或后缀。
在基督教传统中，lust 是“七宗罪”（Seven Deadly Sins）之一，被视为一种邪恶的冲动。
