Latency
- “Low latency is crucial for online gaming to ensure a smooth experience.”
- “The virus has a long latency period, making it difficult to detect early.”
- “There was a noticeable latency between clicking the button and the application responding.”
“In the early days of satellite internet, the high latency made video calls nearly impossible. There was always a three-second gap where you would wait for the other person to react to what you just said, making the conversation feel disconnected.”
