Judiciary

  1. “The independence of the judiciary is a fundamental principle of democracy.”
  2. “The President’s new appointment to the judiciary was met with mixed reactions.”
  3. “The entire judiciary system needs reform to handle the backlog of cases.”

“The young law student spent her summers observing the judiciary in action at the local courthouse. She watched how judges listened to evidence and made decisions based on the law, not on personal feelings. She realized that the strength of the judiciary was the foundation of a fair society.”
