Invited

“Invited” 指被正式或非正式地请去参加或参与,如 “We were invited to the wedding.”(我们受邀参加婚礼。)

  1. “She invited all her classmates to the party.”
  2. “Only invited speakers may use the main stage.”
  3. “He was invited to join the research group.”

in-(向内)+ vit(可能与“生命、活力”相关,学界有讨论)→ invite;-ed 表完成。

“Every neighbor on the street was invited to the block party on Saturday afternoon.”
