Insignificance

  1. “Looking at the stars makes you realize your own insignificance in the universe.”
  2. “She felt a sense of insignificance when standing among the world’s most powerful leaders.”
  3. “The errors were of such insignificance that they didn’t affect the final result.”

  • 前缀: “in-” (不)

“A small ant spent all day carrying a tiny seed. To the humans walking by, the ant’s work was a picture of insignificance. But to the ant colony, that one seed meant life during the winter. Importance, the ant knew, depends on who is looking.”
