Injured

  1. “The injured players were taken off the field immediately.”
  2. “He spoke in an injured tone after being falsely accused.”
  3. “The rescue team searched for any injured survivors in the ruins.”

“The car hit the tree with a loud crash. Luckily, the driver wasn’t seriously injured, only a few scratches on his arm. However, his pride was deeply injured because he was usually such a good driver.”
