Ingrained

  1. “The habit of waking up early was ingrained in him from childhood.”
  2. “Some prejudices are so deeply ingrained that people don’t even realize they have them.”
  3. “There was ingrained dirt on his hands after a day of working in the field.”

“Elder Li has lived in the village all his life. His love for the land is ingrained in his soul. Even when his children asked him to move to the city, he refused, saying he belongs to the soil.”
