Indistinguishable

著名科学家阿瑟·克拉克曾说过:“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”(任何足够先进的技术都与魔法无异。)

  1. “The twin brothers are almost indistinguishable, even to their own mother.”
  2. “At a distance, the gray ship was indistinguishable from the sea.”
  3. “The copy of the painting was so good that it was indistinguishable from the original.”
  • 前缀: “in-” (不)。

“The artist painted two identical apples. One was real, and one was made of wax. They were so indistinguishable that a hungry bird flew down and tried to peck the wax apple! The bird was very confused, and the artist laughed at his perfect trick.”
