Gesticulating
- “He kept gesticulating with both hands while explaining the map.”
- “The director was gesticulating from the back of the theater.”
- “She was gesticulating so wildly that she knocked over her coffee.”
来自拉丁语 gestus(姿态、手势),与 gesture(手势)同源;古罗马修辞与演说中肢体语言是重要组成部分。
“The professor, gesticulating toward the board, did not notice the student gesticulating back from the last row.”
