Gesticulating

  1. “He kept gesticulating with both hands while explaining the map.”
  2. “The director was gesticulating from the back of the theater.”
  3. “She was gesticulating so wildly that she knocked over her coffee.”

来自拉丁语 gestus(姿态、手势),与 gesture(手势)同源;古罗马修辞与演说中肢体语言是重要组成部分。

“The professor, gesticulating toward the board, did not notice the student gesticulating back from the last row.”
