Evaporating

“Evaporating” 本义指液体变成气体,如 water evaporating in the sun(水在阳光下蒸发)。

  1. “The puddles were evaporating quickly in the afternoon heat.”
  2. “Investor confidence seemed to be evaporating after the earnings report.”
  3. “Without a budget, their travel fund kept evaporating on small purchases.”

“As the morning dew was evaporating, so was his doubt—replaced by a clear plan for the day.”
