Evaporating
“Evaporating” 本义指液体变成气体,如 water evaporating in the sun(水在阳光下蒸发)。
- “The puddles were evaporating quickly in the afternoon heat.”
- “Investor confidence seemed to be evaporating after the earnings report.”
- “Without a budget, their travel fund kept evaporating on small purchases.”
“As the morning dew was evaporating, so was his doubt—replaced by a clear plan for the day.”
