Embellishing

“Embellishing” 可指在物品上添加装饰细节,也可指在叙述中添油加醋、夸大其词,如 embellishing a story(给故事添枝加叶)。需根据语境判断是美化还是夸张。

  1. “She spent the afternoon embellishing the invitation with gold lettering.” (她花了一下午用烫金字装饰请柬。)
