Embellishing
- “She spent the afternoon embellishing the invitation with gold lettering.”
- “The reporter was accused of embellishing facts to make the piece more dramatic.”
- “Embellishing plain curtains with trim can change the whole room.”
- 固定搭配: “embellishing the truth” (添油加醋), “embellishing with details” (用细节装点)
“While embellishing the cake with berries, she admitted she might have been embellishing yesterday’s fishing story too.”
