Elucidating
“Elucidating” 指用清晰的语言解释晦涩的概念、数据或立场,语气正式、学术感较强,如 elucidating the theory(阐明理论)、elucidating a point in the discussion(在讨论中把某一点说清楚)。
- “The professor spent an hour elucidating the causes of the financial crisis.”
- “A good chart can be elucidating when the text feels dense.”
- “She wrote a blog post elucidating how the new tax rules work.”
- 固定搭配: “elucidating a concept” (阐明概念), “elucidating the issue” (把问题说清楚)
“His elucidating diagram turned a confusing lecture into something the whole class could discuss.”
