Baking

“Baking” 指用干热(通常是烤箱)使食物熟透或变金黄,如 baking bread(烤面包)或 baking cookies(烤曲奇);也可引申为某物正在经受高温,如 the sun is baking the pavement(烈日炙烤路面)。

  1. “She is baking a chocolate cake for the party.”
  2. “The smell of baking bread filled the whole kitchen.”
  3. “We spent Sunday afternoon baking muffins together.”

“While baking cookies, she set a timer and used the waiting minutes to frost the ones already cooling on the rack.”
